Brian Byrne
FCA — CFO / COO · Founder
Brian is a qualified Chartered Accountant (FCA) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and has over 25 years of experience working in the hedge fund and private equity industry. Having worked for 6 years with PWC in Dublin and Cayman, he then moved into fund administration with BISYS and Citco Fund Services Dublin.
In 2004, Brian was appointed CFO/COO for WestHarbor Capital in London, a BlueCrest seeded event driven fund. He joined Pamplona Capital Management in 2008 as Director of Project Development and COO of the Fund of Funds team, before joining Brook Bay Capital as Partner/COO in Jersey in 2015.
Brian moved back to Ireland in 2023 to set up HFCOO Limited, providing COO Consultancy services to private equity and hedge fund clients across various jurisdictions.
Antoine Rousseau
MSc Finance · Operations Consultant
Antoine is an investment operations and fund infrastructure consultant with over 15 years of experience across hedge funds, global asset managers, and private equity. He specialises in operational design, reporting, and valuation frameworks during fund launches, early-stage growth, and operational change.
He began his career at Orbis Investment Advisory across multi-asset portfolios, covering trade processing, cash management, reconciliations, and valuation. In 2015, he joined Brook Bay Capital LLP in London as Senior Operations Manager, responsible for fund operations, valuation, and reporting across a multi-entity structure.
Since 2018, Antoine has operated as an independent consultant to CFOs and COOs across Private Equity and Hedge Funds. He holds an MSc in Finance from Cranfield School of Management and has completed CFA Level I.
